YEDJELE CORAL
The water is so clear here at Yedjele Beach (Mare, Province Des Îles, New Caledonia). You can see the corals and fish without even needing to put your head under water. The water is so clear, I saw a local woman walking through the corals with a machete, fishing. She didn’t go further than thigh deep and as she was looking down, she would occasionally poke through the water. I don’t know if she caught anything but it was an interesting method of fishing.
