Plus here on #VancouverIsland #BC #Canadas Rain Forest nothing gets wet cause Bathtub floors don’t always keep you dry.

Don N NOT in the Western Pacific Coast that’s for sure, most tree’s are 6′ circumference minimum up to 12′ & more for Douglas Fir tree’s.

Stephen Bradley I cut my own straps from 1″ tubular material that I got at rei. It works great on the trees that I’ve been using. Haven’t taken it to the Hoh yet but since they are 15′ long each I don’t anticipate any problems there either. Usually double wrap the tree and still have enough to tie off around 15-18 ‘ apart.

I use a hennesy asymmetrical tarp and an ENO hammock with a homemade uq and mss for my oq… Last deer camp it was the warmest in the whole camp.

William Kennison Same tree’s and rain forests too. WAWHiker on YouTube only uses floorless tents for his hammock.
